Aina Haina Real Estate

Home to a community of people who are deeply invested in the recreational and development of their homes, Aina Haina peacefully sits nestled in a valley. Most of the houses found in the area are single-family homes that stretch from Kalanianaole Highway into the deeper part of the valley.

Aina Haina found its name after the Hind-Clark Dairy, which was the staple business in the area during the early years of development. The direct translation of Aina Haina is “Hind’s Land”; Hind-Clark Dairy’s founder was Robert Hind.
Providing residents with various options for grocery s hopping, restaurants, hair salons and banks is the Aina Haina Shopping center. Also found within the compounds of the shopping center is a conveniently located gas station. Recently, however, the community has become more concerned with the sustainability of the shopping center after years of wear have taken toll on the structure. Plans to renovate the aging structure are ongoing due to the strong presence of community members regarding the procedures.

The 40-year-old Aina Haina Community Association is a very strong organization that brings local residents together to address any issues that may impact their community. The association is composed of concerned residents who volunteer their time and services for the good of the district.

Aina Haina falls under the Kaiser Complex school district, which includes five other elementary schools: Niu Valley Middle School and Kaiser High School. Holy Nativity School, which is a privately Holy Nativity Episcopal Church run co-ed school, accepts students from age 3 to 6th grade.
