China Town Real Estate
In one part of downtown Honolulu, you will find an exotic and diverse subdivision named, China Town. Long been a historic hub of commercial activity since Chinese immigrants began to move off the plantation lands, China Town grew to be a community of high-rise condominiums and apartments.
In terms of food and groceries, China Town offers fresh produce and daily. The town is also home to many restaurants featuring Asian cuisine, dozens of florists filled with fresh flowers and leis, and shops featuring goods from the East.
Recently, China Town has encountered severe problems wit 05h crime and ruined architectures, which need to be restored. Fortunately, the city’s government pushed and encouraged local businesses and residents to clean-up and restore the area. The success of the clean up began to manifest through the openings of numerous art galleries and upscale restaurants like Indigo, Bar 35 and 39 Hotel within the Area. The presence of these new successful establishments led to the First Friday, a monthly event to encourage the community back into Chinatown. This event encourages local artists and features smaller restaurants. In addition to the restoration efforts, the Hawaii Theatre Center was restored and reclaimed its former glory as the main gathering place for locals.
Every Chinese New Year, China Town closes down several s 5ections of its street to make space for its parties. Thus, residents can always expect a one spectacular event.
