This is how Hawaii Kai was changed from a farming area with a country feel to one of the most prosperous neighborhoods in Oahu. It is widely thought of as one of the most prestigious suburban communities in Hawaii and boasts plenty of housing options including single family homes, town houses and condos. right next to Koko Marina in Hawaii Kai you will find the community of West Marina; it is surrounded by a plethora of eateries, shopping centers and other services, including fitness facilities and medical centers - downtown Honolulu is only 12 miles away, although because of these great local amenities it is not often necessary to visit.
