Excellent show. I wonder how many people were influenced by it, whether consciously or not? Funny that I remember the scenery and the lifestyle being so appealing yet never thought about how Hawaii seemed to have a large number of criminals for the stars to catch. Not watched the remake yet, but I may well now, Thanks for posting.

I'm sure the new show will be different but based on the clip I think I'll like the new version, I just hope it's as good as it looks. The show can be a beneficial thing for Hawaii as where "Lost" wasn't specifically showcasing Hawaii but just an Island, plus when the show is on the streets it's fun for those who live there or have visited to point out places they know or have been to as they watch.

I have taken the ' Lost ' film location tour before and I wouldnt mind taking a ' Hawai Five-0 ' Tour soon.. as a matter of fact I will love to take the tour and hopefully see the actors as they are filming the show!-- Any shows or productions done in one's town can only make it better.  The production will bring publicity to the town, make it more excited, more appealing, increase tourism, increase business and if the show is successful and stays in Hawaii for years to come it will generate jobs and keep locals employed.

I guess this makes me old, but I am a huge fan of the original series and never could get that damn theme song out of my head! Smiley Good to see they are remaking it.

Hawaii Five-0 is one of the reasons I want to relocate here.

This is one "new" show I'll give a try. I really enjoyed the original, and I thought the local women they showed were gorgeous. I'm sure they'll have plenty this time around too.

The problem with the original Hawaii 5-0 is that they showed super hot locals that really doesn't exist on this island. I mean sure there are some hot babes here, but the way hawaii 5-0 portrays it as though all the islanders are super model hot. Please I live here I see the dogs, and the super hot ones.. It's not realistic.  Undecided
