If I am not retired by the time I get there you can bet I will be at least part timing it. I do not want to work myself into an early grave and moving to such a lovely place for me, its the best pamper treatment I can imagine.

Good luck with the retirement and part time working. I think working past retirement even, is a great source for a person to continue feeling needed and independent rather than relying on other means or people for that matter.

Yes, the costs of housing is certainly high in Hawaii but I feel the cost of construction is worth in the sense that the surroundings and the ambiance are clean and bereft of pollution.
