I have had very good experience with Excalibur Van Lines as they are not just proficient in what they do, they know their job, the staff is polite and professional and you can actually offload your headache of moving on to them safely.

When I go I am not going to take many things with me, maybe have clothing shipped but that is about it. For me its going to be all about being retired (early) and happy. I can replace a ton of things, but I do not want to waste a ton of money shipping it either.

Have you thought about PODS?  It's a shipping container they deliver to your home and you pack it yourself.  Then they come and get it and ship it anywhere you need for it to go.  They will also store the PODS for you for a fee.  I was considering them but I haven't contacted them yet to see what price they would do it for.

It really all depends. I would look at things like where you are moving from in relation to where you are moving to in addition to the minor things to make sure you are able to return the rental.
