Princeville was named in honor of Prince Albert Kamehameha during his visit in the year 1960.  He is the son of King Kamehameha and Queen Emma.

I found the same information when I was searching to see how Princeville was named?  I couldn't help but wonder, though, what country was he the prince of?

He was the son of the Hawaiian king with the name as mentioned above.  The Township and the golf course there were named after him.
