Kaiser is responsible for developing the area near the Maunalua fishpond. The
area was developed from dredging the Kuapa Pond. After the dredging process is
over, the pond is filled with sand. Bernice Pauahi Bishop Estate decides to
develop residences on the 521-acre Kuapa Pond. The development caused by houses
to be developed on the marina. Hawaii Kai has a postal code of 96825. Nearby
the Hawaii Kai area, there are other residential neighborhoods such as
Portlock, Kalama Valley, and Queen’s Gate. On the west of Hawaii Kai, there is
